We are an automotive component manufacturer based in Witham seeking a CNC Machinist skilled in programming, setting and operating a 6‑axis Robot. Compensation up to £20.40 per hour for the hours 1:30 pm to 12:00 am Monday through Friday. This temporary‑to‑permanent position supports a full order book into the early 2030's.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set the robot cell.
- Program and prove out new components on a 6‑axis KUKA KRC2 Robot cell from master panels.
- Work with aluminium, carbon fibre, and epoxy tool boards.
- Collaborate with the machine shop to deliver on time.
- Set and operate a 3‑axis vertical machine centre.
- Set and operate 5‑axis universal machining centres.
- Deburr and manually finish parts.
- Cutter and prepare materials.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls.
- Strong knowledge of machining and programming techniques.
- Engineering background.
- Attention to detail.
- Versatility across the machine shop.
