We are currently looking for a Machine Operator in the North Weald, Essex area for a well-established Manufacturing and Production company who designs and manufactures high end products for both commercial and residential clients. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to learn new skills and progress within a thriving business. Applicants must be able to drive and have your own transport due to location.
Duties of the Machine Operator:
- Using a variety of machines - including Hot Press, Edge Bander and Sander to manufacture products
- Undertaking manual handling duties - using lifting aids
- Learning the process of manufacturing product
- Working with both wood and metal
- Working with other departments to ensure smooth production processes
The ideal Machine Operator:
- Previous experience gained within wood working/joinery/carpentry would be a distinct advantage
- Experience within manufacturing and production, ideally with machine operating experience
- Ability to work in a team and lone working
- Must be enthusiastic with a willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills along with excellent attention to detail
- Due to location own transport is essential
