Side Loader Driver / Yard Operative Earls Colne £14.00 - £15.00 per hour DOE Monday to Friday | 6:00am - 3:00pm 1 hour paid break | Temp to Perm We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established heavy industry manufacturing company in Earls Colne who are looking for an experienced Side Loader Driver / Yard Operative to join their busy team. This is a long-term temp to perm opportunity for someone with a current Side Loader ticket who is comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment and getting involved with general yard duties alongside operating the machinery. Duties of the Side Loader Driver / Yard Operative: Operating a Side Loader safely and efficiently around the yard and manufacturing site Loading and unloading heavy materials and products Moving stock and materials between the yard, storage areas and production Safely positioning and stacking materials Carrying out daily checks on the Side Loader and reporting any faults General yard duties including keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised Loading and preparing materials for production and dispatch Assisting with the movement and handling of heavy materials Manual handling and heavy lifting as required Supporting the wider manufacturing team when required Following all site health & safety procedures and safe systems of work Requirements: Current and valid Side Loader licence/ticket is essential Previous experience operating a Side Loader in a yard, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment Full UK driving licence is required Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual work Good understanding of workplace health & safety Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team Willing to get involved with general yard duties when not operating the Side Loader This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
