We are recruiting for a Food Mixer / Production Operative to join a well-established food manufacturer in Earls Colne. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for someone with previous food manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting.
To be considered:
- Previous food manufacturing or food production experience
- Experience following recipes, specifications or mixing instructions
- Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards
- A reliable and positive approach to work
Duties of the Food Mixer / Production Operative will include:
- Mixing ingredients and products to set recipes and specifications
- Preparing batches and ensuring accurate measurements
- Monitoring product quality throughout the production process
- Completing daily cleaning and hygiene duties
- Following food safety and manufacturing procedures at all times
- Recording production information where required
- Supporting other production areas during busy periods
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing, bakery, kitchen or mixing environment
- Manufacturing and production in a food environment
- The ability to work accurately and follow instructions
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible approach and strong work ethic
