Are you looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? Are you local to Diss, Norfolk? We are currently recruiting for a Brazer to join an established manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role involving the preparation, assembly and brazing of components and sub-assemblies, working from engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure products are manufactured safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out brazing operations in line with engineering drawings, work instructions and company standards
  • Prepare and clean components prior to brazing
  • Accurately assemble and align components before brazing
  • Inspect completed work and identify any quality issues or non-conformances
  • Maintain a "Right First Time" approach to minimise rework and scrap
  • Complete production documentation accurately and on time
  • Carry out routine checks of brazing equipment, gas supplies and tooling
  • Report equipment faults, defects or maintenance requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with 6S standards
  • Support continuous improvement and team activities

About You

  • Previous experience in brazing, soldering, welding or general assembly
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good manual dexterity and practical skills
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team

  • 39-hour week Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 13:30 - early finish every Friday
  • Overtime available at time and a half
  • 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
