Are you looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? Are you local to Diss, Norfolk? We are currently recruiting for a Brazer to join an established manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role involving the preparation, assembly and brazing of components and sub-assemblies, working from engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure products are manufactured safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out brazing operations in line with engineering drawings, work instructions and company standards
- Prepare and clean components prior to brazing
- Accurately assemble and align components before brazing
- Inspect completed work and identify any quality issues or non-conformances
- Maintain a "Right First Time" approach to minimise rework and scrap
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time
- Carry out routine checks of brazing equipment, gas supplies and tooling
- Report equipment faults, defects or maintenance requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with 6S standards
- Support continuous improvement and team activities
About You
- Previous experience in brazing, soldering, welding or general assembly
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements
- Reliable, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team

- 39-hour week Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 13:30 - early finish every Friday
