Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00

We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver to join a busy and well-established manufacturer in Sudbury. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role within a supportive team, carrying out local and regional deliveries across East Anglia and surrounding areas.

The majority of deliveries are within an hour of Sudbury, with the furthest deliveries reaching two hours away. You'll be driving a 2.5 tonne curtain sider van and representing the business professionally when delivering products to customers.

Delivery Driver Duties:

  • Completing deliveries safely and efficiently across Suffolk and surrounding areas
  • Loading and unloading products from the vehicle
  • Securing loads correctly within the curtain sider van
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues
  • Assisting within the warehouse when required
  • Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
  • Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed accurately

Who are we looking for?

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous delivery driving experience is desirable
  • Confident driving a 2.5 tonne van
  • Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
  • FLT licence desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • £12.75 to £13.25 p/hour
  • Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
