Duties: Efficiently program and set up CNC milling machines in line with job specifications. Manufacture high-precision components directly from technical drawings. Perform thorough self-inspections to ensure all finished parts strictly meet tight tolerances. Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs while preparing machinery based on works orders. Experience required: Experience of programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery. Hands-on proficiency with Siemens Shopmill and Heidenhain controls. Ability to interpret and work from detailed technical engineering drawings. Hands-on experience with Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, proactive work style, and a desire to progress professionally.
