Miller – Egham – Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE) A global leader in aerospace component manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to program, set, and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled CNC professional to work on precision aerospace components in a technically advanced environment. Key Responsibilities: Program CNC machines (3, 4, & 5 axis) using Fanuc and Sinumerik controls (online) Program offline using EDGECAM Set and produce first-off components to meet exacting tolerances and quality standards Generate setup documentation and ensure repeatability in production Continually improve processes and tooling through updated cutting technology Collaborate with management to meet production timelines and flag potential issues Provide technical support and solutions for production and process issues Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to maintain rigorous QA standards Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards on the shop floor Mentor new staff and support team members as neededRequired Experience & Skills: Proven experience in CNC milling – programming, setting, and operating Strong background in aerospace machining preferred Proficiency in EDGECAM for CAD/CAM offline programming Hands-on experience with Fanuc and Sinumerik controls Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Skilled in both metric and imperial systems Apprenticeship background and technical training courses preferred Sound understanding of measurement tools and QA practices Good command of English and MathematicsBenefits Include: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm Contributory Pension Scheme, Health Care Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme and Life Assurance 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Company Sick Pay Scheme Free On-Site ParkingThis role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented CNC expert looking to advance in a high-precision aerospace environment.
