We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy and fast-paced operation in Clacton-on-Sea. This is a hands-on role within a logistics distribution and supply chain environment, supporting the movement and distribution of goods to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
Key Duties:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods safely
- Assisting with the preparation and dispatch of customer orders
- Ensuring stock is stored correctly and handled with care
- Carrying out accurate checks on products, packaging, and order details
- Supporting other departments where required to maintain smooth operations
- Following all health & safety procedures and site regulations
- General warehouse duties including housekeeping and organisation
The Ideal Candidate:
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Previous experience working as a Forklift Driver in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
- Positive attitude with a proactive and team-focused approach
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
