We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative Nights to join a busy and well-established business in Bury St Edmunds. This is a hands-on role working across different areas of the warehouse, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the business.

The role will involve a mixture of inbound and outbound duties, along with supporting other areas such as value-added services. There are also opportunities for the right candidates to receive LLOP, HLOP and other forklift training.

Candidates will need to be comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift and carrying out regular manual handling, with boxes weighing up to 15kg.

Pay & Hours: £14.20 - £16.00 p/hour, depending on shift Monday to Friday, 37.5-hour working week Late shift: 14:00 - 22:00 Night shift: 22:00 - 06:00

Warehouse Operative Nights Duties:

  • Handling inbound goods and checking deliveries
  • Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse
  • Supporting outbound operations
  • Working within the Value-Added Services department as required
  • Carrying out regular manual handling of boxes up to 15kg
  • Using warehouse equipment safely
  • Opportunities to train on LLOP and HLOP trucks for the right candidates
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the shift
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Previous counterbalance or reach experience is desirable
