Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Pay: £13.50+ p/hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established warehouse business in Bury St Edmunds. This is a varied, hands-on role involving goods in, stock movement, picking and general warehouse duties within a fast-paced environment.

A Pivot Steer (Bendi) Forklift licence would be highly desirable, although not essential, as there may be opportunities to support with forklift duties. Candidates must be physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling and lifting throughout the shift.

Warehouse Operative Duties:
  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
  • Moving stock throughout the warehouse
  • Assisting with goods in and checking deliveries
  • Carrying out general stock control and warehouse duties
  • Operating a Pivot Steer (Bendi) forklift where licensed
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • A valid Pivot Steer (Bendi) Forklift licence is desirable
  • Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
