Senior Accountant in Bury St Edmunds

A client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Part-Time Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a temporary-permanent, fully remote position working 20-25 hours per week and paying up to £23.08 per hour depending on experience. Your key duties in this Senior Accountant role will include but are not limited to: Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for SME clients Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts and reporting packs Preparing sole trader accounts and self-assessment tax returns Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets and loan/HP accounts Providing technical accounting and bookkeeping support to the wider team Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong, long-term relationships Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing accounting advice and answering queries Supporting clients with their wider business needs and helping them understand their financial informationSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role: At least 3 years' experience preparing statutory accounts, CT600s and SA100s within a UK accountancy practice ACCA, ACA, AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experience Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with strong client relationship management skills Experience using Xero and Excel; TaxCalc and Fathom experience would be advantageous Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload independently in a fully remote environmentIf you feel like you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this Part-Time Senior Accountant position, please apply with your CV
