A leading electronics engineering company is seeking a Senior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to lead complex development projects, designing and testing innovative digital and analogue systems for real-world applications.
What You'll Do:
- Define product specifications in collaboration with Product Management
- Lead the design of digital and analogue electronic hardware using Altium Designer
- Perform component selection, simulation, prototyping, and validation
- Debug and verify hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other lab equipment
- Work closely with software and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Manage the full hardware development lifecycle from concept through to production release
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, EMC, and industry standards
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Hardware Design Engineer, ideally at a senior level
- Expertise in Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout
- Strong understanding of mixed-signal design, high-speed digital circuits, and power management
- Confident using lab tools for debug, validation, and fault-finding
- Experience working in cross-functional product development teams
- Knowledge of RF principles is beneficial but not the core focus
- Familiarity with FPGA or microcontroller-based systems is advantageous
