An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector or CMM Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Basildon. Working within a modern precision engineering environment, you'll inspect aerospace components to ensure they meet customer and AS9100 quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection
- Complete FAIRs to AS9102 standards
- Use precision measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges and DTI
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Support quality improvements and Right First Time initiatives
- Work closely with production and engineering teams
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector or CMM Inspector
- Aerospace or precision engineering background
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Experience with AS9102 FAIRs
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100
- CMM experience beneficial but not essential
