Pre-Production Scheduler Basildon Salary Negotiable depending on experience A well-established, leading, major fit out company working in the commercial and high-end residential sectors are keen to recruit a Pre-Production Scheduler to be responsible for ensuring design release information, drawings and production packages are fully co-ordinated for each project. Duties: Manage design release and pre-production information, ensuring drawings, revisions, requisitions and documentation are accurate and ready for manufacture. Coordinate production planning, including trackers, project programmes, samples, cutting sheets and production drawings using 2D/3D CAD. Identify long-lead materials and support procurement, obtaining quotations, negotiating costs and coordinating Free Issue Materials. Manage subcontractor and outsourced manufacturing, coordinating enquiries, production, logistics and delivery schedules. Monitor project KPI performance, identify risks and maintain effective communication with Design, Production, Procurement, Site and external suppliers. Skills and Experience: Extensive knowledge of joinery and associated materials The ability to read production drawings. Competent in the use of 2D AutoCAD & 3D CAD software Previous experience within a similar role Highly organised Proficient in Microsoft Window Software Packages Must be an effective Communicator with excellent attention to detail as well as being a team player Experience of Project management would be preferable Benefits Salary negotiable Hours 8.00am to 5.30pm with 1 hours lunch 25 days holiday plus bank holiday (3 to be used for Christmas shutdown) Auto enrolled pension scheme Bonus scheme EV scheme Death is service benefit 4 x annual salary Personal accident cover Healthcare cash plan scheme
