We are looking to recruit two CNC Millers to work night shift with either 3 Axis or 5 Axis experience to work for an international manufacturing company supplying components to the aerospace industry. You will produce precision components using Mazak or Doosan machines. If you are a time served CNC Miller with setting and operating experience then apply today.

Duties:

  • Produce precision components from drawings using CNC machines
  • Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency
  • Set and operate CNC milling machines
  • Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
  • Work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
  • Quality check all finished jobs
  • Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area
  • Working to ISO 50001/14001/45001/9001 standards
  • Commitment to continual improvement in manufacturing, quality, health, safety environmental, energy and sustainability management
  • As part of your role you will be asked to support the Energy team and consider energy reduction and savings within the scope of your role leading to continuous improvement

Skills & Experience:

  • Fully skilled time served CNC setter/operator (certificates required)
  • Must have experience of 3 or 5 Axis machines
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings and follow written instructions
  • Aerospace experience preferable
  • Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
  • Computer literate
  • Must have good attention to detail, good practical skills and excellent hand-to-eye coordination
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team in a safe manner
  • Normal colour vision is required

  • £18.54ph = £37,599pa + 33% shift allowance
  • Monday to Thursday 7:30pm to 4:30am, Friday 2:30pm to 7:30pm
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
