Production Engineer\\nNorth London\\n\\nSalary Negotiable + Excellent Benefits\\n\\nA leading developer and manufacturer of navigation and surveillance systems is seeking a Production Engineer to optimise and support electromechanical production processes. This role is key in New Product Introduction (NPI), process engineering, and continuous improvement for high-tech manufacturing.\\n\\nDuties\\n\\nAct as the primary liaison between Design, R&D, and Manufacturing, supporting NPI and product industrialisation.\\nDevelop, implement, and maintain work instructions, operating procedures, and test specifications.\\nSupport production targets through process optimisation, tooling management, and technical support.\\nLead pilot builds, process validation, and transition to full-scale manufacturing.\\nSpecify, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment, jigs, and fixtures.\\nSupport quality assurance, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and inspection methods.\\nDrive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.\\nAnalyse production data to identify bottlenecks, improve productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.\\nTrain and support production operators and technicians on manufacturing best practices and quality standards. \\n\\nSkills & Experience\\n\\nPrevious experience in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Process Engineering.\\nExperience with electromechanical assemblies: motors, sensors, actuators, wiring, and PCB assemblies.\\nStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes.\\nKnowledge of Lean tools, FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Ishikawa analysis.\\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).\\nExposure to high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments desirable.\\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\\nMust hold a UK passport.
