Permanent, £30,000 per annum, Saxmundham, Suffolk – On-site. Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Saxmundham. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with warehouse, stores, logistics, or stock control experience who is looking for a long-term permanent role within a supportive and friendly working environment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday; Weekly Rotating: 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00. Initial training shift: 06:45 – 16:30.

Key Duties:

  • Receiving and booking in deliveries
  • Picking and packing orders accurately
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate stock records
  • Using warehouse systems and handheld scanners
  • Keeping the stores area clean, safe, and organised
  • Supporting production and dispatch teams when required
  • Following all health & safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, logistics, or stock control role
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, hardworking, and motivated attitude
  • Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
