We are currently recruiting for a reliable Picker / Packer to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation in Clacton-on-Sea. This is a hands‑on role within a logistics distribution and supply chain environment, focused on accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
Key Duties- Picking products accurately using order lists or handheld scanners
- Packing items securely to ensure safe delivery to customers
- Preparing and labelling orders for dispatch
- Carrying out quality checks on products and packaging
- Assisting with goods-in and stock replenishment when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Supporting the wider team to ensure daily targets and deadlines are met
- Following all health & safety procedures and site guidelines
- Previous experience in a picking and packing or warehouse role
- Knowledge of distribution logistics and supply chain processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational skills and ability to work at pace
- Positive attitude with a team-focused approach
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Reliable and able to commit to the full temporary assignment
