Permanent position - £26,500 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience. Location: Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. On-site. Full-time (Monday-Thursday 8:15 am‑5:00 pm, Friday 8:15 am‑3:45 pm).

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and respond to employee and business enquiries, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Manage all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, off‑boarding, performance management (appraisal reviews, RTWs, welfare, pay reviews/promotions) and career progression for office staff.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment law requirements, internal company policies, employee handbook provisions, and staff benefits across all service areas.
  • Create, update, and maintain departmental documents.
  • Manage quarterly staff surveys and performance appraisals, and actively participate in wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • Support and execute assigned tasks for social events.
  • Administer absence management systems.
  • Oversee project administration for HR/People digital platforms.
  • Conduct assessments for all staff, collect feedback, identify necessary actions, and implement measures to support employee welfare.

  • Previous experience within Human Resources and Personnel.
