We are currently recruiting for a Metal Worker to join a well-established and growing engineering company based in Hadleigh, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a supportive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist within a busy engineering and manufacturing workshop
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Support fabrication and assembly tasks
- Carry out general workshop duties as required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in a manufacturing and production, labouring, or engineering environment
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Own transport due to location
Desirable
- Interest in engineering or fabrication
- Experience with heavy-duty assembly or mechanical builds
- Basic welding knowledge or exposure (not essential)
