We are currently recruiting for a Metal Worker to join a well-established and growing engineering company based in Hadleigh, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist within a busy engineering and manufacturing workshop
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Support fabrication and assembly tasks
  • Carry out general workshop duties as required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing and production, labouring, or engineering environment
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
  • Own transport due to location

Desirable

  • Interest in engineering or fabrication
  • Experience with heavy-duty assembly or mechanical builds
  • Basic welding knowledge or exposure (not essential)
