Our client, a leading innovator in their industry, is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support new product development and drive procurement excellence from concept to end-of-life. This will be a dynamic role in a global environment with strong cross‑functional exposure, supplier interaction, and the opportunity to influence new product development and innovation.

Role Overview:

  • Manage forward sourcing activities.
  • Support cost estimation and optimisation.
  • Lead supplier inquiries and negotiations and ensure early supplier involvement in development projects.
  • Maintain ERP master data, support make‑or‑buy analyses, and prepare project documentation.
  • Assist in production ramp‑up and end‑of‑life processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in international sourcing, supply chain, forward sourcing, product development or project purchasing.
  • Strong technical understanding (ideally mechanical processing).
  • Excellent communication, analytical skills, and a structured working style.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel.
