Position Overview
Temporary £13.00 - £16.00 p/h
Maldon, Essex – On-site
On-site duty hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.
We are currently hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our busy engineering company. The role offers a transition from temporary to permanent status, and compensation is up to £16p/h depending on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Set and operate a CNC Press Brake
- Use guillotine, pillar drills, band saws and general hand tools
- Fabricate metal components in accordance with technical drawings
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
Qualifications
- Ability to set and operate CNC Brake Presses
- Experience with guillotine use and general metalworking tools
- Solid engineering background
