A subcontract engineering company based in Witham are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their expanding team.
We are looking for someone with good experience using hand and power tools, has experience of both fitting, general maintenance and taking a part mechanical items.
The role is field based, working in manufacturing companies across Essex, Suffolk and East London, so you will need a driver’s license.
The role is paying £15ph to £20ph depending on your skills and experience.
Mechanical Fitter:
- Installing and removing barriers, cages, guarding etc
- Removing equipment
- General maintenance within food factories
- Using hand and power tools
- Driving to site
To be considered for the role you will have fitting experience and happy to drive to site.
For the role, you will be provided a company van and fuel card.

- Overtime paid at x1.5 which is regular between Monday to Friday
This is a temporary to permanent role to begin with.
