A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Legal Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, temporary position until the end of December, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) paying £12.71 per hour depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Legal Administrator role will include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support to the Legal Team during a busy year-end period
- Assisting with property and conveyancing administration, including filing, title checks, exchanges and completions
- Supporting Conveyancers with their caseloads and general legal processes
- Assisting with post-completion administration, including Land Registry and SDLT processes
- Carrying out AML checks and maintaining accurate records
- Responding to enquiries and requests from customers and property owners
- Updating and maintaining information using the company's case management system
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Strong previous administration experience is essential
- Previous experience within conveyancing, property or a legal environment would be highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- Confident working as part of a team and supporting multiple colleagues
- Experience using case management systems would be advantageous
