Are you an experienced Toolmaker looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your career?
We're looking for a skilled Toolmaker to join a growing engineering business. This is a hands-on role working on the manufacture, repair and modification of injection mould tools, with a clear pathway to progress into a Toolmaking & Management position as you develop.
The Role:
- Repair and modify injection mould tools
- Manufacture new mould tools to specification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Carry out bench fitting and finishing work
- Operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders and spark eroders
- Support CNC milling operations
- Work with Mazak/Mazatrol and Bridgeport/Heidenhain systems
- Support projects and take on increasing responsibility as you progress
About You:
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven Toolmaking experience, ideally within injection mould tooling
- Experience with manual milling, turning and grinding
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
- Wire erosion and CNC milling experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided
