A global company who work on some of the highest profile projects are are keen to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to work as part of the Plant Maintenance Team responsible for maintenance of the facility and plant. You will need to have Facilities Maintenance experience ideally within a manufacturing environment .

What\’s on offer:

  • Salary OTE £46,000
  • Working on a rotating shift pattern 5 x 10 hours per day 3 off
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Duties:

  • Maintain existing plant and equipment providing technical support and quality service to other areas of the business.
  • Working a shift cover scheme for maintenance functions for out of hour\’s tasks and breakdowns.
  • Manage and control allocated Preventative Maintenance tasks on plant to maximising utilisation and ensuring any potential risks are identified and managed
  • Ensure all statutory/legal maintenance tasks adhere to company procedures, policies, and legal requirements and ensure compliance to HSE governance
  • Ensure controls/alarms/service agreements are maintained with subcontract suppliers
  • Communicate with customers and other members of the facilities group regarding any issues
  • Assist in the development of best practices within Facilities
  • Embrace new technology, seek out and apply continuous improvement techniques
  • Experience:

  • Extensive experience gained within a Facilities maintenance role is essential, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work shifts consisting of five days on and three days off
  • Experience with water systems, electrical distribution, fire alarms, air-conditioning, control systems, BEMS/Trend systems, process chillers and A/C systems preferable
  • Experience of Preventative Maintenance
  • NVQ (3) or above in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering is essential.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office software and electronic tablet-based work allocation and time recording applications would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HSE, Risk Assessments and COSHH
  • Experience of SAP is desirable
  • Must be physically fit and will be expected to undertake medical on site.
