We\’re partnering with a rapidly growing, family-run engineering firm in Witham, known for delivering expert machinery and production line maintenance across the East and South East. They\’re now seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their skilled, supportive, and close-knit team.

This role is ideal for a mechanically biased engineer with some electrical know-how – particularly those with experience in FMCG environments who enjoy variety and time on the road.

What\’s on Offer

  • Up to £20 per hour, depending on experience

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Overtime paid at one and a half times your hourly rate

  • Travel time paid (to and from site, starting from Witham)

  • Holiday buy-back and loyalty bonus schemes

  • The Role

  • Carry out on-site maintenance and repair work across client facilities

  • Diagnose and fix mechanical faults, with some electrical involvement

  • Inspect, repair, and rebuild conveyor systems and machinery

  • Respond to breakdowns and perform scheduled maintenance

  • What We\’re Looking For

  • Strong mechanical engineering background, or automotive experience such as engine rebuilds

  • Basic electrical maintenance experience

  • Previous experience in FMCG or fast-paced production environments is a big advantage

  • Self-motivated, flexible, and reliable

  • Full UK driving licence is essential
