We're looking for a proactive Deputy to support the Team Leader with day-to-day operation of a busy production environmentfor a1 year contract covering maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in production who is looking to upskill themselves & take the first steps in managing staff.
The Role: -
You will assist with the smooth running of the department, helping to maintain quality, efficiency, and workplace standards while also carrying out hands-on production duties.
Key responsibilities include: -
- Supporting daily operations and workflow.
- Conducting WIP checks and assisting with stock counts.
- Reviewing quality control documentation.
- Monitoring consumables and reporting shortages.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Providing supervisory cover during absences.
- Overseeing overtime activities when required.
What We're Looking For: -
- Experience within a production or factory environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to priorities workloads and work independently.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards is advantageous.
Working hours: -
Rotating shifts, Monday-Friday:
- 6:00am 2:00pm
- 2:00pm 10:00pm
