CNC Miller
Location: Basildon
Salary: £37,599 basic + 33% shift allowance (£50,006 annually)
An international aerospace manufacturer is recruiting two experienced CNC Millers with 3-axis or 5-axis machining experience, ideally using Mazak or Doosan equipment.
Duties
- Set and operate milling machines to manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.
- Maintain tight tolerances and inspect finished parts using measuring equipment.
- Follow quality procedures and relevant ISO standards.
- Maintain machinery, uphold safety standards and minimise production waste.
- Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
- Time-served CNC setter/operator with relevant certificates.
- Experience with 3-axis or 5-axis machining centres.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong inspection skills, attention to detail and computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Aerospace experience desirable.
