Primary Water Solutions is a professional water hygiene and compliance specialist, delivering reliable PPM services to help clients meet legal requirements and manage waterborne risk. Our experienced engineers carry out temperature monitoring, shower disinfections, TMV servicing, and cold water tank cleaning in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274, providing consistent service, clear reporting, and safe, compliant water systems.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene / Plumber to support the delivery of compliant water management services across a range of client sites. This role combines hands‑on plumbing expertise with water hygiene duties, ensuring systems are maintained in line with ACOP L8 and Health and Safety Executive guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine water hygiene monitoring, including temperature checks of hot and cold water systems
  • Conduct cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of water tanks, calorifiers, and outlets
  • Perform TMV servicing, repairs, and replacements
  • Undertake plumbing works, including dead leg removal and system modifications
  • Complete flushing of outlets and infrequently used water systems
  • Accurately record all works and compliance data in line with regulatory standards
  • Identify and report risks, supporting control measures to prevent Legionnaires' disease
Candidate Profile
  • Experienced in water hygiene and/or plumbing, ideally within a compliance driven environment
  • Knowledgeable of ACOP L8
  • Holds relevant qualifications
  • Confident working independently across multiple sites with good time management
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and providing a professional on‑site presence
  • Full UK driving licence
