Could you provide support to older people? Primary Source Care are currently recruiting for Care Assistants to work at our client's nursing home in Towcester providing high quality care to adults aged 60 and over with a range of health needs.
Full time, part time and ad-hoc positions available, with hourly rates of pay ranging from £8.50 - £10.00.
About the client: Heathfield House nursing home is an elegant Georgian mansion house, set in its own landscaped gardens. It is located in Kidlington, in the rural Oxfordshire countryside, about six miles north of Oxford. Heathfield House is managed by an experienced nursing Manager who has worked with older people in retirement homes for many years. She is supported by a team of nurses, qualified carers and professional administrative staff. All our staff receive regular training updates and have been employed via a thorough recruitment process which includes references, police checks and interviews.
The care home offers comfortable accommodation for those of retirement age and above. We provide short breaks and longer-term care for up to 48 residents, and we are able to provide a safe and secure environment, along with full personal and nursing care.
Who are we? Primary Source Care are a company based in Hertfordshire established in 2019 to provide high calibre care staff to healthcare and support services throughout England. Set up by experienced care managers, our aim is to change the ethos of care to elevate the quality of life experienced by all service users. We strongly believe that we have a moral duty to enhance and protect the lives of all service users, whilst ensuring our clients are staff receiving fair and competitive rates. Furthermore, we supply long term members of staff to ensure continuity and security for all.
What we need from you: You will need to have at least six months' experience working in a care/supported living environment, and ideally hold a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care, although it is more important that you have a positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to undertake further on-the-job training. All successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check before they can commence working with service users.
