Primary Source Care are currently recruiting for Care Assistants to work at our client's nursing home in Glais, Swansea providing high quality care to adults aged 60 and over with a range of health needs. Full time, part time and ad‑hoc positions available, with hourly rates of pay ranging from £8.50 - £10.00.

About the role: Elegant, comfortable and very much a home for home, Glais House’s rooms are the perfect luxury nursing care accommodation located in the village of Glais in Swansea. Due to the popularity of the home, it has been extended and refurbished extensively. A significant portion of the home is now purpose‑built and the care home successfully combines both traditional features and high‑quality modern facilities. They require a full‑time care assistant to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of their residents. You will be required to follow care plans and to report any incidents or concerns, whilst catering for residents’ needs.

What we need from you: You will need to have at least six months’ experience working in a care/supported living environment, and ideally hold a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care, although it is more important that you have a positive, can‑do attitude and the willingness to undertake further on‑the‑job training. All successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check (paid for by Primary Source Care) before they can commence working with service users.
