Could you provide support to people with learning disabilities? Primary Source Care are currently recruiting for Support Workers to work at our client's service in Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire providing high quality support to adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Full time, part time and ad-hoc positions available, with hourly rates of pay ranging from £8.50 - £10.00.

About the role: At their purpose-built accommodation, our client provides 24 hour support for people with a range of disabilities, in a friendly and homely environment. You'll be able to spend time building relationships with the people they support, getting to know them and their support needs and play a big part in their development. The people they support have many interests and activities they like to get involved in, including Art and crafts, going out for walks and drives, music, watching films, and simple cookery.

Our client is an Enabled Living Service which was created to promote Choice and Control and enhance the Life Experience of adults with profound disabilities and complex needs. At the heart of their philosophy is the belief that their properties are considered by their residents to be their home and is the reason why they are designed to integrate seamlessly with the local community with no internal or external signage anywhere to be seen. Who are we? Primary Source Care are a company based in Hertfordshire established in 2019 to provide high calibre care staff to healthcare and support services throughout England. Set up by experienced care managers, our aim is to change the ethos of care to elevate the quality of life experienced by all service users. We only source the best possible candidates to suit your business or organisation’s needs. We strongly believe that we have a moral duty to enhance and protect the lives of all service users, whilst ensuring our clients are staff receiving fair and competitive rates. Furthermore, we supply long term members of staff to ensure continuity and security for all.

What we need from you: You will need to have at least six months' experience working in a supported living environment, and ideally hold a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care, although it is more important that you have a positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to undertake further on-the-job training. All successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check (paid for by Primary Source Care) before they can commence working with service users.
