Could you provide support to people with learning disabilities? Primary Source Care are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses to work at our client's service in Bricket Wood, Hertfordshire providing high quality support to adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs. Full time, part time and ad-hoc positions available, with hourly rates of pay ranging from £15.00 - £25.00.

In Hertfordshire, our client provides a range of support options including Registered Care, Supported Living and Further Education provision. Within their Registered Care homes, they provide care and support for adults with learning disabilities. At one of their services in particular, they provide accommodation, care, nursing and support for up to 12 people with learning and physical difficulties.

Our clients' staff receive training in subjects including safeguarding, health and safety, medicines, and specific health conditions including epilepsy, and they ensure the people they support have access to health and social care professionals when required, including GPs, occupational therapists, chiropodists and psychiatrists.

You will need to have at least six months' experience working in a supported living environment, and ideally hold a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care, although it is more important that you have a positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to undertake further on-the-job training. All successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check (paid for by Primary Source Care) before they can commence working with service users.
