This is a temporary on-site role located near Hinckley, West Midlands for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. The primary responsibilities include:
- Undertaking patient consultations
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions
- Prescribing medications
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Triaging patients
- Conducting routine health checks
- Providing preventive care
- Supporting the practice with clinical decision-making and documentation
Qualifications:
- Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of both acute and chronic conditions
- Proficiency in prescribing medications and knowledge of current guidelines and protocols
- Minimum 2 years' experience working within primary care or GP settings, including coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Commitment to patient-centered care, preventative healthcare, and promoting positive health outcomes
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a recognized Nurse Practitioner qualification
