Primary Integrated Community Services are supporting Bassetlaw Hospice with the recruitment for the following vacancy. To maintain high standards of excellence at Bassetlaw Hospice by overseeing the day-to-day management of the catering and housekeeping service. This includes working regular shifts in the kitchen, planning and preparing homemade meals that meet a variety of dietary requirements, and managing domestic duties to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment in compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide line management, supervision and support for the Catering & Housekeeping team and volunteers.
- Facilitate training and supervision for staff and volunteers.
- Plan and prepare meals for patients with varying nutritional and dietary needs.
Qualifications:
- BSC (Catering), MHCIM, HND, City and Guilds 706/1 and 2, NVQ level 2 and 3, or equivalent qualifications.
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 3 in Kitchen Supervision (or working towards).
