We are seeking a full time experienced staff member who is reliable and passionate about working in general practice as a head receptionist, to join our team. No weekend work. Should be available to work across the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 8am till 6pm. Above award wage. We are a small privately owned practice.
Applicants must be reliable, have excellent computer, multitasking/organisational skills and a calm and friendly manner. Our practice is a busy, computerised, two doctor practice with nurse support and happy friendly staff. Previous experience of working in a medical centre is required.
You will be responsible for checking the billings and helping the reception staff with the day to day running of the practice. Past experience in the medical practice and comfort with General Practice software like Best Practice is required.
Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication skills including a professional and personable telephone manner are essential. Ability to multi-task and prioritise is necessary, as well as the ability to work as part of a multi-faceted team and independently. Must be familiar with WIP, PIP, etc. and all government sites.
