We are seeking experienced Registered General Nurses to join our workforce at Brushwood and Millvina Care Homes in Liverpool. The role offers both permanent salaried and bank positions, with flexible shifts that can be negotiated to fit your schedule.

Salary options: up to £42,742.66 per annum (pro rata) for permanent salaried positions, or £22.77 per hour for bank employees.

Location: Brushwood & Millvina Care homes, Liverpool. Full time/part time and bank positions available; shifts to be discussed.

Responsibilities

  • Be a role model and promote the highest standard of person-centred clinical nursing care to residents.
  • Serve as the nominated nurse in charge and ensure safe staffing levels are met using the agreed patient dependency score tool.
  • Work alongside the care team, ensuring a high quality of care is delivered.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults.
  • Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents’ care through written care plans.
  • Work supportively alongside clinical, care home colleagues and families to maintain the highest standards of care for all residents.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
  • Experience working with care of the elderly patients/frailty within older persons environment, community/social care, acute hospital and care home setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of writing comprehensive care plans.
