To match this ambition with our ability to deliver services effectively, efficiently and safely, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join Primary Care Sheffield (PCS).

You will be someone who can see the bigger picture while maintaining a strong focus on the detail that makes services work effectively day to day. • Maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission regulations where relevant.
  • Contribute to and deliver effective tender responses, proposals, reports, presentations to support business growth and service reporting with the support of the wider PCS Team.
  • Play a key role in turning a successful bid into an effective service by supporting the operations and compliance leads in operational aspects of product/service mobilisation.
  • Work closely with the Clinical lead to ensure our services are clinically effective and safe; using their expertise to advise and guide you in decision making.
  • Ensure compliments, comments, concerns and complaints for the directorate are properly logged and manage their flow through the relevant process. Investigate complaints as directed by the clinical quality manager.
  • Implement business continuity arrangements to ensure PCS responds, in the event of serious/major incident(s), to demands of the city-wide urgent care system.
  • Be responsible for drafting and managing processes and procedures within the directorate, ensuring consistency and appropriacy.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. You may be required to undertake other duties which fall within the grading of the post, as directed by the line manager.
