Main duties of the job

Working 30 hours a week asour Quality Administrator, you will play a key part in supporting a place basedcommunity mental health service in Sheffield. Working within our Qualityportfolio, youll provide support to the Quality Lead, Quality Support Managerand Lived Experience Lead. Your work will help ensure our systems,documentation and processes remain safe, organised and responsive to peoplesfeedback and experience..

Job responsibilities

As our Quality Administrator, you will play a key part in supporting a place based community mental health service in Sheffield. We are looking for someone compassionate, kind and values driven, with a strong commitment to improving quality, governance and patient experience. Working within our Quality portfolio, youll provide support to the Quality Lead, Quality Support Manager and Lived Experience Lead. Your work will help ensure our systems, documentation and processes remain safe, organised and responsive to peoples feedback and experience.

This is a varied and rewarding role. You may be:

updating SOPs, policies and audit documentation

supporting responses to compliments, concerns and complaints

helping maintain patient safety records (PSIRF)

supporting key workstreams such as accessibility and staff experience

maintaining quality trackers and action plans

preparing agendas, taking minutes and supporting quality related meetings

You will also have occasional contact with people who use our services, so a sensitive, empathetic and confident communication style is essential.

This is a hybrid role, and youll need strong self organisation and confidence managing your workload across different locations.

Person Specification

Experience

  • -Previous admin/secretarial experience gained in a similar role.
  • -Able to contribute to and work within good practice guidelines.
  • -Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and written
  • -Responsible approach to dealing with confidential issues.
  • -Excellent telephone manner.
  • -Ability to manage own time and able to manage multiple priorities
  • -Ability to provide project administrative support
  • -Ability to adapt to varying demands of the job role.
  • -Ability to prioritise workload and manage own workload effectively
  • -Experience of working in an NHS/healthcare environment.
  • -Previous experience of working with diverse and vulnerable populations.
  • -Background in communications and customer service
  • -Some knowledge of clinical systems
  • -Experience using NHS systems, particularly System One

Qualifications

  • -Good standard of education at GCSE level or higher
  • -GCSE in English language or equivalent
  • -Training to Vocational Level 3 in business admin or equivalent level of experience
  • -Previous admin/secretarial experience gained in a similar role.
  • -Experience of working in an NHS/healthcare environment.
  • -Previous experience of working with diverse and vulnerable populations.
  • -Background in communications and customer service
