The ADHD Administrator plays an essential role in supporting governance, quality and patient safety activity across our ADHD service. The PCS ADHD service is working across the interface between primary care, voluntary sector and secondary services, with the aim of improving the mental health and well-being of our communities.

This is a hybrid role requiring you to work independently, manage your workload across different locations, and maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the PCS ADHD service
  • Send patient communications by email and post
  • Monitor the ADHD inbox and other incoming correspondence and respond appropriately
  • Manage and book clinics and appointments
  • Accurately input and update patient notes and enter clinical decisions as requested
  • Provide administrative support in meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and updating actions
  • Maintain and organise electronic and hard copy filing systems
  • Work alongside managerial and clinical leads to help ensure that high standards of governance, quality and patient safety are maintained across the service
  • Support the ADHD Team Manager and clinicians to ensure that systems, documentation and processes are well organised, accurate and up to date
  • Work effectively in a hybrid environment, requiring strong self-organisation and the ability to manage your workload across different locations
  • Undertake organisational tasks, communicate effectively, and prioritise competing demands in a sensitive and compassionate way
