Framfield House Surgery are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and committed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to our team on a full or part-time basis. The successful candidate may come from a range of professional backgrounds. As an experienced healthcare professional, educated to master’s level, they will have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role and scope of practice caring for patients.

The role:

  • Deal with patient consultations both on the telephone and face to face
  • Provide a professional service to our patients
  • Prescribe within competencies to our patients
  • Work alongside our experienced clinical team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Support the team with additional duties applicable to the role
  • Participate in staff meetings

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will require the following:

  • A relevant nursing degree.
  • Current NMC registration with an active PIN
  • Hold a valid prescribing qualification
  • Recent experience in primary care
  • Be a good team player in line with our ethos to support our colleagues to deliver the best service to our patients
  • Possess good organisation skills

About Us

Our practice serves approximately 14,500 patients and has a strong, collaborative team comprising: 5 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, a supportive and experienced Nursing, HCA and Administrative team, a Dispensing Service, an established GP Training Practice. We work collaboratively with Deben Health Group PCN, with a wide range of PCN and community services supporting our patients. Our practice benefits from a low visit burden, with many patient contacts managed by our paramedic team and PCN community services, allowing our GPs to focus on providing high-quality, personalised care.
