Flitwick Surgery are looking for an experienced and dedicated urgent care practitioner to join us on a part‑time basis for 3-4 days a week. Working alongside our GPs and multidisciplinary team via telephone or face‑to‑face assessment to provide patient care for minor illness. There is scope to extend your interests with the management of chronic diseases and/or women's health to include sexual health and HRT.
The post holder will need to be an experienced clinician who has ideally had experience working in primary care and who is acting within their professional boundaries; will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care. We welcome applications from minor illness nurses, ANPs and paramedics.

Qualifications, skills and experience required
- Professional registration with relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC or GPhC
- Post‑graduate qualification in specific speciality or equivalent experience

About Us
Flitwick is a busy surgery run as a partnership and serving a practice population of 14,250 patients. The clinical team consists of GPs, minor illness nurses, pharmacists, a paramedic, practice nurses and HCAs. We are a training practice for GPs and also take part in medical research. We are part of Green Vale Health PCN. Due to our location in Flitwick, a commuter town in rural Bedfordshire, the practice population is diverse covering patients of all life stages. We have good links to the A6 and M1.
