Vida Healthcare is recruiting a reliable and hardworking person to join our busy document management team as a scanning clerk. This part-time role is 28 hours per week and based at Gayton Road Health Centre.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all documentation is processed within an appropriate timeframe, working with the team to prioritise and access the workload.
- Read and analyse clinical correspondence received and determine the necessary actions.
- Ensure that the documents are completed and flow to the relevant person, passing onto GPs and/or other members of the practice team any letters that require further input or action such as prescriptions or referrals.
- Liaise and communicate with the wider practice, summarising team activities and participating in meetings as required.
- Attend relevant training to meet the requirements of the role and improve skills.
- Maintain data security at all times (clear desk procedures, lock out computers, etc.).
