Wootton Vale Healthy Living Centre are looking for a motivated and compassionate nursing associate to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. This position can be offered on a full or part-time basis.

Working under the direction of registered nurses and GPs, you will deliver high quality patient care across the practice and contribute to our long term condition and preventative health programmes.

  • Treatment room duties (vaccinations, smears, wound care, phlebotomy, ECGs, observations)
  • Supporting long term condition reviews
  • Carrying out elements of annual reviews for housebound patients
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records, following practice protocols, and working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.

About us: We are a friendly surgery with a list size of over 18,000 patients, over two sites, Wootton Vale (MK43 9JJ), and branch site Shortstown Surgery (MK42 0GS). We have good appointment access, which translates to happy patients, and a strong teamwork ethos, that includes an established clinical pharmacy team, GPs, nurses, physician associates, clinical liaison and admin teams. We are also a tier-2 sponsoring practice and would support any applicants requiring a tier 2 visa. Our practice ethos is to provide traditional levels of patient care and friendliness, through innovation, supported by the latest technology. We work closely with our community partners and with the other GP practices within our primary care network.
