Lawson Road Surgery in Norwich are a high performing GP surgery currently seeking immediate support following the sudden absence of our Practice Manager due to serious illness.
We are looking for:
- An experienced Practice Manager to provide interim operational leadership and business management
- Support with day-to-day practice financial management
- Availability at short notice is highly desirable, ideally for 1 or 2 days a week
- Ideally on site but remote/hybrid working considered
- Short term contract at present
About the Candidate
If you are an experienced practice manager who is currently looking for a short term position, then we would love to hear from you. All applicants should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous Practice Manager experience
- Detailed and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, as well as experience in managing a diverse workforce
- Prior experience of leadership and personnel management, within a healthcare setting
- Experience in financial management
- Ability to deliver a vision, with a willingness and the drive to adapt to NHS targets and business planning, whilst keeping abreast of legislative and contractual changes
- Self-motivated, with a forward-thinking, solution-focused approach
- The ability to develop, implement and embed policies, procedures and guidelines
- Experience of working in an ever-evolving environment, with an ability to cope with regular change
- Excellent organisational, management and planning skills, IT skills and communication skills
