- Undertaking a variety of administrative duties including using the clinical system to run reports i.e. for research, patient eligibility for flu vaccinations, monitoring long term health conditions etc.
- Phlebotomy/HCA tasks
- Stock ordering and stock rotation
- Care and cleaning of clinical equipment
- Helping our lead nurse with the clinical appointment system
- Checking and resupplying emergency equipment
- Support for the GP inserting coils and contraceptive implants
- Train to become a chaperone
- The role is based on the premises
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone who would fulfil the role of clinical administrator to support our large nursing team. Applications are welcome from extremely well organised, adaptable and friendly individuals who are keen to help us provide high levels of customer service.
- Must be IT literate, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, working in a confidential and discreet manner.
- Ability to multi-task, work efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as independently.

We are a highly reputable, friendly and supportive semi-rural, dispensing, research and GP training practice operating in north Norfolk within the village of Hoveton/Wroxham, 6-miles to the north east of the fine city of Norwich. We have a growing list size of approximately 10,000 patients. We are also a member of the NN4 Primary Care Network, working closely with 5 other local practices.
From autumn 2026, Hoveton and Wroxham Medical Centre will be managing primary care services at the new Magna Medical Centre in Rackheath.
