Newport Pagnell Medical Centre is looking to recruit a Neighbourhood & PCN Service Delivery Lead working 22.5 hours per week between Monday to Friday.

The Neighbourhood & PCN Service Delivery Lead will provide operational leadership and management support across Newport Pagnell Medical Centre (NPMC) and The Bridge Primary Care Network (PCN), ensuring effective delivery of PCN services, workforce initiatives and neighbourhood-based programmes.

The post holder will act as the operational bridge between strategic objectives and service delivery, supporting the implementation of PCN priorities, integrated neighbourhood working, workforce development and quality improvement initiatives.

The role will lead on the management and development of Additional Roles Reimbursement Schemes (ARRS) staff, coordinate projects and programmes, support partnership working across the healthcare system and contribute to the development of innovative models of care.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Coordinate the operational delivery of PCN priorities and programmes.
  • Support delivery of PCN contractual requirements and agreed work plans.
  • Monitor progress against objectives and ensure timely delivery of actions.
  • Ensure appropriate reporting arrangements are in place.
  • Support implementation of new services and initiatives.
  • Maintain oversight of programme milestones and outcomes.
  • Line manage designated ARRS staff and other PCN workforce as required.
  • Support recruitment, induction and onboarding processes.
  • Conduct supervision, appraisal and personal development reviews.
  • Manage attendance, wellbeing and performance issues in line with organisational policies.
  • Support workforce planning and deployment across services.
  • Promote staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will require the following;

  • Have previous experience working within a similar position
  • NHS experience
  • Managerial experience
