Newport Pagnell Medical Centre are looking for a Data Quality Administrator to join their team on a full or part-time basis, this can be discussed at interview.

Duties will include:

  • Scanning documents onto the clinical system
  • Managing mail and patient correspondence
  • Forwarding documents to clinicians
  • Entering correct read codes on to the patients record, being aware of QOF and Enhanced Service requirements
  • Summarising patient records, extracting relevant information
  • Participating in the daily rota, prioritising and sharing tasks within the team
  • Registering new babies into the system
  • Actioning record transfers
  • Liaising with the safeguarding team

We would welcome applications from organised, adaptable and friendly individuals who are keen to help us provide high levels of customer service. Applicants should have the following skills and experience:

  • An experienced administrator, with excellent IT, time management and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage
  • Previous NHS experience preferred
  • Clinical coding and summarising of patient records experience an advantage
  • Ability to manage sensitive patient information appropriately
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as independently
  • Experience of working in a similar environment would be advantageous

Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues. All applicants should ensure that they live within reasonable commuting distance. We may close the post early if we receive a sufficient volume of applications.
